Mobile Phone Information - Sony Ericsson J210i

Sony Ericsson's new J210, which was introduced earlier this week at CommunicAsia 2005, is an entry-level device targeted at the world's emerging markets where mobile phone penetration is traditionally low. While the J210 might not be super feature-packed, it is reasonably attractive, and weighs a mere 74 grams, which should earn it some attention.

Another stand-out feature for a low end phone like this is the 65K TFT display. Historically, low end devices such as the J210 would have come with a passive matrix display, so it is nice to see that the better quality displays are finally starting to work their way down the food chain. Other standard fare includes a MMS message editor, a calendar application with reminders, a ringtone composer, and an alarm clock.
