The new entry-level Sony Ericsson T250 was launched today in London. The device sports a stainless steel finish that gives it high-end looks without costing a high-end price. This basic phone has a built-in VGA resolution camera that can be used for photos or picture messaging. Also on the multimedia front, the T250 has a built-in FM radio and comes with a wired stereo headset included in the box.
Other features of the device include a hands-free speakerphone, a vibration alert, and personal information management applications like a calendar, a calculator, and an alarm clock.
The T250 will be available in black or silver in two different dual-band GSM/GPRS configurations when it ships in Q3 of this year. A 900/1800MHz version will be available in most of the world while a 850/1900MHz version is slated for the Americas - possibly even the US.
